Buellton is gearing up for a wonderful fall season with so many events and things to do! Here's what is coming up in the near future for locals and tourists to enjoy in our lovely city!

~ Tonight ~ September 16

The Revivalists - 7 p.m. at Standing Sun Winery - 92 Second Street - For more than two years, and the day is finally here! Whatever you do, take the time to listen to this band, buy a ticket, book a babysitter or bring your kids, and be prepared for a LIVE show like no other venue in the Santa Ynez Valley or even Santa Barbara. This is a huge opportunity for our small town to get on the map with full US touring bands. We have had a few, and this is the continuation of building that platform that will make Buellton and Standing Sun LIVE the premier small venue stop that many of these bands are looking for! 

~ Thursday ~ September 17 

Live Oak Lanes hopefully will get final approval at the Buellton Planning Commission - 6 p.m. 

For more than five years, there has been the prospect of a family entertainment center complete with batting cages, bocce ball, a full bar and bowling around Industrial Way in Buellton, where a craft beverage and foodie scene is taking root.

Buellton Wine & Chili Fesitval!

The third annual Buellton Wine & Chili Fest is back and better than ever! This years event will take place from 12 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, at Flying Flags RV Resort. 

More than 25 wineries and 25 chili / salsa cooks will battle for bragging rights as the best in the west! Your ticket includes unlimited wine and chili samples, live entertainment, bocce ball, horseshoes, ping pong, corhnole, mega sized beer pong and more! We have created more shade, invited more wineries and you will enjoy the amazing scenery! 

 

The beautiful Flying Flags RV Resort has been going through beautiful renovations throughout the year, and it has never looked better! We hope you can join us again and enjoy the great weather, location and fabulous wines and chili!

  On Friday Aug. 14 the Kick off Barn Party is at Sanford Winery - the Winemakers will be sharing their library stash, large format bottles and small production bottlings to get you warmed up for the weekend. Bustlin' in Buellton

Every week there is always something to do here in Buellton that you might not know about!

This weekend starting today there are some awesome events to attend. 

- Tonight! August 6 -

Standing Sun Winery (92 Second Street) has started to become the new place to be for music in our city! They are featuring local bands and others while they sling to wine at you! Grab your dancing shoes and head over! 

Tonights music will headline Have Guns Will Travel - an infectious Americana pop band from Florida. Their music has been featured in a national Chevy TV commercial, as well as the PBS series Roadtrip Nation, and CBS’s The Good Wife. Doors open at 7 p.m.! The admission in $10 and food will be determined later!

There are also a comedy event at the Chumash Casino - featuring Drew Thomas during the Friday Comedy Club Series, with popular stand-up comic Roy Wood, Jr., and Special Guest Jessi Campbell. Dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $50

- Sunday August 9 - 

Standing Sun presents HONEYHONEY with Santa Ynez Valley locals Grass Mountain opening - Doors open 7pm and the show starts 7:30 p.m.!

Buellton's Barbecue Bonanza This Weekend!!

Ready to have a good time, meet some neighbors and eat delicious barbecue? We are too! 

Make sure you come out to the 12th annual “Buellton BBQ Bonanza,”, that draws some of the biggest crowds of any event in the city, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at River View Park.

"The BBQ Bonanza is a just a great fun, family day. It's about getting the community together for an old time meet and greet," said Kyle Abello, recreation coordinator for the City of Buellton.

This event is free for our community in the park at the south end of Sycamore Drive, which includes food and drinks provided by the city, live music, games for kids (and adults), demonstrations from local businesses, a prize raffle and booths hosted by local organizations and businesses. 

"From businesses to non-profits coming out to let people know what they do and how they can get involved to the music and games for kids, it's nice to have a relaxing atmosphere to bring everyone together to celebrate the things that make Buellton such a great place to live and work," Abello added.

Barbecue tri-tip is the main course.

There is a chocolate chip cookie baking contest - or bring a dessert to share!
